Transcription by Keith Railton

This is 'The Outlaw Torn'...
Yeah, I _know_ some of it looks strange, but I'm convinced this is how
it's
played. The only part I'm not sure of is the first riff (the one that
fades
in) cos' you can't what chord it's meant to be. I just play the
really nasty
sounding thing below . . .

 Fade-in Intro Riff
-x-------------------------------
-x-------------------------------

-x-3---3-3---3-3---3-3---3---3---
-x-2---2-2---2-2---2-2---2---2---
-x-0---0-0---0-0---0-0---0---0---
Rake those 'mutes' over the 3rd fret and wah to create that noise on
the
record.

 Main Massive Rock Riff!

Chords that come in occasionally . . .

7---9------X
5---7------X

This is used before every verse, you need some delay to get the echo
that's
on the recording. Those mutes are just general string noise...

This the "Hear Me. If I close my mind..." bit.
Listen _very_ carefully to get the timing. This guitar part is played
quite
'loosely'.

===

Righty then. These next bits are the parts leading up to Kirk's mad
solo
bit, to play them you'll some echo or get another guitar to play the
echoed
parts...

Now then, all someone has to do is work out the solo . . .

This last bit is the fade-out jam bit. It's not all here cos', well
it's
_meant_ to be improvised. If I was doing this live I'd make something
up
in D Pentatonic to fit . . .

These are the main themes:

Main 'riff' bit . . .

Well that's it, hope everyone can understand the notation!
